Upcoming sewing lessons for April - July 2015

So the year is in full swing already, but it is never to late to get started on that New Years resolution to learn to sew!
Here are our next class start dates:


Level 1 Sewing:

Our next Level 1 course start dates are:

-  Monday evening  1 June 2015, 6-7:30pm 
-  Friday morning 12 June 2015, 10-11:30am

The Level 1 course is R1990 and includes all materials.
The course is 8 weeks long and lessons are 1 ½ hours each, once a week. We show you from scratch how to use a sewing machine. We also show you how to insert elastics, zips, buttons, hems and we teach you how to read a bought pattern. 
To practice your basic sewing skills we also complete 2 exciting sewing projects.
                                                                                                                                                        
We are also now offering a Level  1 course  on a Saturday morning. Lessons are 2 hours long and the course runs over 6 weeks.  The next start date is;

-  23 May, 10:00am-12:00pm.



Level 2 Sewing:
 
In Level 2, we sew up a skirt, a dress, pants and a blouse. Our next level 2 courses will be starting:

- Tuesday 28 April, 6-8pm, 
- Thursday 21 May, 10am-12pm
- Saturday 23 May, 12:30-2:30pm. 

Lessons are 2 hours each. The course is 14 weeks long and lessons happen once a week. The cost is R3380 excluding materials and R3860 if you would like materials included.









Project Help Class:

If you would like to work on a couple of your own projects or ones that we have available, we also offer a ‘Project Help Class’.
We have a class from:
- 5:30-7:30pm every second Wednesday evening and 
- Thursday morning from 10am-12pm. 

The Project Help Class is R150 per hour or you can buy a subscription at R1000 for 4 x 2 hour sessions.


Special projects on offer this month: Kimono dressing gown, leggings,  baby nest, long sleeved T, fabric basket




Kids Holiday Sewing Camp 13-15 July 2015:





Age: 7-11 Years
Time: 9:30am - 12:30pm
Cost: R990
Materials: All materials are included 












General:

In our studio we have all the gadgets you will need, from sewing machines to pins.We are fully kitted out and have a lovely bright, welcoming work space.
   If you would like to buy your own sewing machine, we supply Singer and Baby Lock       
   machines.

We are based in the heart of Observatory in Cape Town, which is a upcoming creative hub of artist and crafts. It is the perfect space to be inspired and let creativity reign.
